TheWaveVR has already begun blurring the lines of offline, online and virtual… it’s just not very obvious to most people yet. Shows like the recent KillTheNoise x TheWaveVR had over 500 people attend concurrently in VR, over 30,000 attended via Facebook livestream, and the artist himself DJ’ed (in VR) from a physical event in LA. It’s not a huge leap to then start blurring those audiences (eg. add live FB comments in VR).
